Overview

The Economics and Finance program at Tennessee State University was overwhelmingly favored by our business school students for their ability to make complex formulas relevant and engaging. Words used to describe our faculty are difficult, challenging, encouraging, supportive, and engaging.

One hundred percent of our full time faculty hold doctorate degrees with an average classroom professor-to-learner ratio of 20-to-1. Our faculty are internationally recognized for their research and can be found providing economics and financial editorials for publications across the country or interviewed for commentary on economic condition in local television channels, newspaper columns. The department publishes a renowned journal, the Journal of Developing Areas (JDA).

Notarized Affidavit of support and financial statement. These documents must not be older than six (6) months prior to desired semester of enrollment

Official transcripts from colleges/universities attended in the United States

Official transcripts and authorized school records with a course-by-course listing of courses and grades received; such transcripts must have been evaluated by a foreign educational credential agancy, at the student's expense.
