Overview

Students study Japan, its culture, literature, and language here in Huntington, WV or through affiliated programs in Nagoya (Chukyo University) and Osaka (Kansai Gaidai University). Choosing a major or minor allows for complete immersion in the language and culture of Japan. We offer a major in Japanese Language and minors in Japanese Language and Japanese Studies. We also offer a Japanese Education major (PreK- Adult) through the College of Education at the Marshall University.
