Cadets who major in Advanced Physics at United States Military Academy at West Point can serve the Army as acquisition project managers, astronauts, battalion commanders, doctors, engineers, intelligence specialists, nuclear weapons experts, physicists, and in other positions.

The American embassies notify invited nations to nominate up to six candidates per country to compete for admission to West Point.
