Gonzaga University's Department of English offers a Bachelor's degree in English (B.A) with two areas of emphasis: a Literature Concentration and a Writing Concentration. Students choose one of these concentrations for their major. The department also offers a highly flexible English minor.

Students must achieve a 3.2 cumulative GPA, with junior year being no less than a 3.1 GPA, in a college preparatory curriculum that results in a high school diploma.
