Overview
Experience an education rooted in the teaching mission of the Catholic Church, guided by professors who possess the mandate to teach from the Archbishop of Newark.
Since Catholicism is a living tradition, our program stretches well beyond the University's walls. We offer concrete opportunities to understand and experience the Catholic faith firsthand in the Catholic Theology at Seton Hall University.
Students choose from two program options:
- Option 1 explores the interaction between faith and reason that is at the root of Catholic thought. It follows the academic requirements of the Program of Priestly Formation (Fifth Edition, 2005).
- Option 2 focuses on a concentration of your choice within the field of theology: systematic theology, sacred Scripture, moral theology or spiritual theology.
