At the Creative Producing programme offered by Chapman University you’ll put the skills to use in your senior project, which includes producing two short films or pilots and creating a professional portfolio.

Earning a B.F.A. in Creative Producing will prepare you for a career in film/TV production and distribution. You’ll build a strong foundation in:

The entire production process

Storytelling and script development

Financing, marketing, distributing and exhibiting films

Entertainment law

Domestic and international cinema

In addition, you’ll receive a liberal arts education at Chapman. This will give you a broad base of knowledge and the opportunity to learn things outside your major. This includes subjects outside film that interest you and could influence your work.

The Creative Producing programme prepares you for a career in the production and distribution for the film and television industry. You’ll learn to:

Produce films/TV from start to finish
