Overview

At Electrical Engineering at Old Dominion Universit students in the undergraduate program in Electrical Engineering at Old Dominion University, will receive a broad foundation in electrical engineering through combined lectures and laboratory work that will prepare them for entering the profession of electrical engineering as well as for further study at the graduate level. They will take core courses that provide them with a strong background in mathematics, physical sciences, engineering sciences and the fundamentals of electrical engineering. In addition, the curriculum offers a wide range of elective technical courses.

Learning outcomes

Electrical engineering students compete for the BBG Incorporated Endowed Scholarship in Engineering. Rising junior and senior students compete with other engineering students. Recipients of the scholarship are also considered for an engineering cooperative education/intern position with BBG Incorporated.
