The General Studies program from Indiana University Southeast is designed for nontraditional or adult students, though many “traditional” students find the program desirable as well. It is meant to be flexible for students who are balancing college with jobs, families and other responsibilities.

- Core 40 or Core 40 with Honors or Technical Honors (or 28 college preparatory high school courses for non-Indiana residents and those graduating prior to 2011)
- At least a 2.0 GPA
- Provide official academic records for all secondary and post-secondary work as well as provide an official, exact (literal) English translation, if the official language on the records is not in English
- Submit proof of English proficiency
- Provide financial documentation
