Through the Sociology and Anthropology major at Carleton College, students learn to see the world with the eyes of a social scientist and are able to view human events through different lenses.

Carleton is adopting a test-optional policy for first-year applicants applying for admission for entry in Fall 2022. This means results of the SAT or the ACT are not required, but you may still submit them.

Carleton does not require the writing section for either test

Students can self-report SAT and ACT scores in lieu of sending an official score report from the testing agency.
