Students engage in a curriculum that balances creative exploration with the practical realities of the built environment.
Why Architecture at Mississippi State University?
The School of Architecture has maintained continuous accreditation since 1973, reflecting a long-standing commitment to excellence. A distinctive feature of the programme is the design-studio sequence, which synthesises all aspects of the curriculum through immersive, studio-based learning. For the first four years, students enjoy 24/7 access to dedicated studio spaces in Giles Hall on the main campus. The final year offers a unique urban experience, as students relocate to the Stuart C. Irby, Jr., Studios in downtown Jackson to complete their studies.
