You'll explore the meanings of concepts such as justice, democracy, totalitarianism, rights and responsibilities. We aim to develop your capacity to think and act in the world in ways that that will serve you long after graduation.

As a student in the Department of Political Science, you can take advantage of hands-on learning opportunities such as internships, service learning classes and undergraduate research partnerships with our internationally known faculty. You also can participate in our Honors Program by writing a senior thesis.
