Overview

The Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education at Northern Illinois University is one of six departments in the College of Education. The department possesses a nationally and internationally renowned faculty serving students pursuing Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S.Ed. Physical Education Teacher Licensure) and Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degrees in Kinesiology and Sport Management.

The Program

The graduate faculty, comprised of top scholars in their fields, teach and mentor graduate students in programs including a Master of Science (M.S.) in Sport Management, Master of Science in Athletic Training, and Master of Science in Education (M.S.) with specializations in exercise physiology, physical education pedagogy, and sport and exercise psychology.
