What We're Doing

Caitlin Arabis, recent graduate of the Fashion Merchandising program, accepted a position as assistant manager at Manuel American Designs in Nashville right out of college, and was quickly promoted to manager within a few months. Astounded that she landed her dream job so soon after graduating, she reflected on her time at MTSU, stating her education gave her a “solid understanding of integral parts of the fashion industry,” and helped her grow her professional and interpersonal skills to be a higher demand candidate.  In her time at MAD, she has sold designer apparel to Ringo Starr, dressed numerous musicians backstage at Ryman Auditorium and worked alongside pop icons like Lady Gaga. She plans to pursue fashion buying as she continues to progress in her career.
