Overview
About this Degree
The most effective leaders are the guiding hand that leads an organization to success. They set direction, guide followers toward an inspiring vision, and help people visualize what might be achieved if their efforts are combined. But there is more than one way to lead an organization. The University of Oklahoma College of Professional and Continuing Studies Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Organizational Leadership explores different leadership styles to help current and future leaders develop the strategies necessary to inspire growth and change within their organization.
All undergraduate courses in this program are eight weeks long. Most students choose to take four courses (or 12 credit hours) a semester; two courses the first half of the semester and two courses the second half of the semester. The number of credit hours you take each semester should be discussed with your advisor and reflective of your personal and work schedules—these courses are fast paced and intensive.
