After completion of the four core classes, students will enroll in a series of introductory courses within the disciplines of ceramics, drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture. Students then apply for admission to the studio art program.
A Studio Arts major from the University of Oklahoma graduates with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in art. Students will build a concentration in two studio disciplines, chosen from painting, printmaking, ceramics, or sculpture. OU also offers a Master of Fine Arts in art degree.
