Overview
The Cellular and Molecular Biology BSc program offered at University of South Florida studies the fields of genomics and computational biology have begun to solve the mystery of how networks of genes are regulated and how cells interact with each other and the how complex organisms react to their environment. Advances in cell and molecular biology continually lead to new treatments for age-related diseases such as cancer and Alzheimer’s.
Career opportunities
This degree prepares students for application to medical school, dental school, graduate school and careers in biotechnology, science policy, biomedical research, teaching, science writing and illustration. Many of our students continue their studies by attending graduate school in biology and other related disciplines.

- Send original or certified copies of academic transcripts, mark sheets, grade reports, diplomas or certificates, national standardized examination results, or other academic course work to USF.
- Submit Your SAT, ACT or CLT Scores
- SAT: Reading and Writing ≥ 490
- ACT: English ≥ 17, Reading ≥ 19
- CLT: Verbal Reasoning and Writing ≥ 38
