Overview
The Asian Studies programme at the University of Oregon provides a sophisticated interdisciplinary framework for understanding the diverse cultures and societies of Asia. Students enrolled in this curriculum explore the complex intersections of history, politics, and economics across the continent within a globally recognised research institution.
As one of the oldest initiatives of its kind in the United States, the programme is now a vital part of the Schnitzer School of Global Studies and Languages. This integration ensures that students benefit from a wide range of academic resources and a community dedicated to solving global problems through cultural expertise and linguistic proficiency.
The curriculum is designed to be flexible, allowing individuals to tailor their education to specific regions or thematic interests.
