Key Features

At the Psychology program of Worcester Polytechnic Institute, you won’t just learn about why people behave the way they do. Our expert faculty members guide you on collaborative hands-on research projects in areas like social psychology, cognitive psychology, and learning sciences to dig into the science at the intersection of psychology and technology. You’ll create a personalized academic path while mastering the scientific theory and language so essential in today’s job market.

With WPI’s long-established scientific approach, psychology students explore many questions about human thought and behavior from how our social environments influence our health to how we can encourage environmental awareness and stability.

Additionally, our research labs give students opportunities for hands-on research and a chance to act as both a participant and a researcher. Our labs include the Educational Psychology Lab, where students decipher data, and the Social Psychology Inquiry (SPI) lab, where a diverse student population participates in and leads experiments.
