Overview

The degree provides a balance of aeronautical theory and application combined with technical education.

The Aviation Sciences - Professional Pilot program at Baylor University is primarily for students who want to become commercial airline pilots, although many different types of flying careers are available. Be aware that there are a limited number of flight slots for pilot students and so admission to the Professional Pilot Concentration is limited and competitive. Flight training is conducted at Baylor University's Flight Center (operated by Universal Flight Concepts) at Waco Regional Airport or at Texas State Technical College (TSTC) in Waco.
