Overview

The mission of the Biology program at the University of Hawaii at Manoa is to provide students with a solid foundation of current knowledge and skills in the life sciences to prepare the students for careers and advanced, post-baccalaureate study.

The Biology program at the University of Hawaii at Manoa is an adaptable program leading to a liberal arts education. Students complete a greater number of courses outside of the major providing a diverse educational experience and more flexibility to pursue a minor/certificate.
