Overview

The mission of the Biology program at the University of Hawaii at Manoa is to provide students with a solid foundation of current knowledge and skills in the life sciences to prepare the students for careers and advanced, post-baccalaureate study.

Designed to give students a solid foundation and broad background in the principles and the diverse ways of thinking in biology as appropriate preparation for the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) in Biology and for specialized graduate study in the field.
