The Mathematics concentration will teach you how to provide technical support and conduct research for high-technology industries, government and private companies. The General Mathematical Studies concentration will help you obtain a state certification to teach mathematics in either middle and high school. Both concentrations will teach you how to apply theories and techniques to solve practical problems and can serve as a stepping stone to graduate school and becoming a professional mathematician.
