BRS accepts contract research, provides consultancy and testing services and develops training programs. It has a cooperative linkage with the Construction Materials and Structures Laboratory of the Institute of Civil Engineering, U.P. College of Engineering. If the work entails testing or laboratory works, the facilities of CoMSLab are available for use.

The 13 UPD residence halls play an important role in the total development of students. These residence halls provide an atmosphere conducive to sound intellectual, physical, emotional, spiritual, social and cultural pursuits. They are living laboratories on campus where students are able to integrate the interplay between academic and non-academic learning experiences. No other system of the University has the potential to impact the passing student more than his/her place of residence. The residence halls built-in program of activities and services complement the academic programs of the University
Every applicant for admission shall undergo a thorough health examination. No person shall be admitted to this University who is found by the University Health Service to be suffering from a dangerous, communicable, contagious, or infectious disease or who is physically unfit to take courses in any college of the University.
UP Diliman has thought me to be an independent woman and student. It has trained me to pursue the things I want with heart and passion. UP has thought me not just lessons from books and theories but lessons which can be applied in our lives.
Studying in UP Diliman has allowed me to grow in many aspects of my life. Not only was I able to learn well academically, but I was also able to develop my leadership skills by being involved in different organizations. While studying here is definitely challenging, it has pushed me to more eagerly strive to truly understand the different concepts taught to us.
The first three years of my university life was pretty exciting. I learned a lot of things along the way, and I really loved what I was doing. But then I realized that the progression of what I was learning inside the classroom was not sufficient, as the fundamentals of my degree was really flawed and inconsistent.
