What is a Bachelor of Global Studies?

The Monash Bachelor of Global Studies is a unique course tackling the most important challenges that the world’s communities face including: climate change; peace and conflict; the rich-poor gap; and crime and justice. Global studies is an interdisciplinary field drawing on politics, economics, sociology, history, medicine and science.

Careers and opportunities

Graduates are highly competitive in the workforce and have gone on to pursue a range of careers including positions within politics and government, international development, human rights and the environmental sector, health and community services, retail, banking & financial services, and media and communications.
