Description
The Robert Blackwood partnership is a collaboration between Monash University and Museums Victoria to encourage and facilitate new research project ideas and initiatives that lead to high impact collaborations and significant external funding. As part of this partnership, eligible honours students can apply for a Monash University - Museums Victoria Honours Research Scholarship to cover costs related to the project.

Between $500 and $1,500 for a full-time study load for a maximum of one year
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- be a commencing or continuing full-time Honours students (enrolled or commencing in the year of application) at a Monash campus in Australia, and
- will work on a project which is either co-supervised by Monash and Museums Victoria, or is substantially focused on some aspects of Museums Victoria’s collection.
Selection criteria: Based on academic achievement and offered to students who are undertaking an Honours research project based on Museums Victoria’s collection or in association with a Museums Victoria researcher.

Prior to applying for this scholarship, you will need to discuss your project with a relevant Museums Victoria curator. You will be required to provide a letter of support from Museums Victoria as well as a written recommendation (maximum 1 A4 page) from your proposed/current supervisors regarding the relevance and quality of the project as part of your application.
