Overview
Throughout this Environmental Science with Business Management (Hons) BSc degree offered by Queen Mary University of London you’ll learn about financial management, marketing, strategy and human resources. Then we’ll spend the rest of the time teaching you about issues like tackling pollution and conserving biodiversity with modules taught in the School of Geography and the School of Biological and Behavioural Sciences. You’ll also get the chance to explore different areas of biology, ecology and evolution that interest you.
After developing skills in our labs using our state-of-the-art instrumentation and modelling methods, you’ll have opportunities to apply your knowledge during field trips. You could be exploring ecological interactions in Somerset. Or perhaps travelling to South Africa to study savannah ecosystems.
You’ll be driven to create a positive impact by our expert researchers. Imagine being taught by leaders who’ve had research included in groundbreaking climate change reports and others who’ve featured on BBC Panorama.
Your combination of business know-how and environmental expertise will prepare you for a range of careers in the public and private sectors. From contaminated land assessment to sustainable natural resource management and conservation consultancy to geospatial analysis – where will this course take you?
