Overview
About the Program
The bachelor of science degree of the Computer Science program of Rutgers University requires a minimum of 24 credits in natural science and mathematics and is intended for students planning to pursue careers and/or graduate studies in science and engineering. The bachelor of arts degree has less natural science and mathematics requirements (a minimum of 15 credits), thus allowing students greater opportunity to develop breadth of knowledge in other disciplines such as the arts, humanities, social sciences, and business.
