
Overview
The BSc Sport Business Management (Hons) course from University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) is highly globalised, both in its content and delivery - this means you will become adept at understanding and analysing the challenges sport faces in other cultures. You will be taught be staff with national and international profiles in sport business research and application. This is enhanced by an international cohort; additionally ERASMUS students are actively accepted.
You’ll receive membership of CIMSPA – the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity – as part of the course. This allows you to attend seminars and meetings, where you learn more about the industry, in practice, and enhances employability.
Work experience on the course is offered, encouraged and guaranteed to those who request it. In addition to gaining crucial industry experience, many students have secured jobs off the back of work placements. You will also have the opportunity to undertake a period of study (a semester or a whole year) abroad in the USA, Singapore or Spain.

There is the opportunity to undertake a period of study (a semester or a whole year) abroad, in the USA, Singapore, UCLan Cyprus, Italy, Spain, Germany or Kazan University in Russia studying how sport is delivered, managed and the problems it faces in different cultures.
