Overview
On the LLB Law with Business (Hons) course at The University of Lancashire you’ll build a strong foundation in legal principles. This will let you take steps towards professional qualification as a barrister or a solicitor. In this course you'll learn how businesses work and make decisions, preparing you for a range of careers in law, business, management and more.
You'll study key legal areas such as: Contract Law, Tort Law, and Company Law and get plenty of opportunities to gain hands-on experience through mooting, mediation, and negotiation.

What you'll do
- Through our Lancashire Law Centre, you may work with organisations such as Citizens Advice and the local authority to explore real legal and business challenges, applying what you’ve learned to make a practical impact.
- The judge marshalling scheme gives you the chance to shadow a judge at Preston Combined Courts, while our moot court room provides a professional setting to practise advocacy and courtroom skills.
- You can also apply to study abroad for one year at one of our partner universities in Cyprus, Mauritius, or other locations worldwide, gaining an international perspective on law and business.

- Successful completion of our LLB (Hons) Law with Business degree provides a strong foundation for the next stage of training as a barrister or solicitor, while also opening doors to careers across the wider business, management, and legal sectors.
