Overview
The BSc Architecture (Hons) at University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) aims to provoke debate and relentlessly pursue innovation within our discipline. You’ll gain experience of all aspects of building design and construction, equipping you to meet the challenges of a low carbon approach to the needs of society.

This course equips you with the skills you need to progress to architectural practice.
After a year’s experience in the industry you have the option to return to the University to complete our postgraduate MArch Architecture (Part II) course.
March (Part II) is prescribed by the Architects’ Registration Board (ARB) and Royal Institute of Architects (RIBA) leading to Part II recognition, so that you can become a registered architect and ARB member.

- Pass Access Course: 128 - 136 UCAS points
- International Baccalaureate: Pass Diploma with 128 - 136 UCAS points from Higher Level Subjects

- IELTS: 6.0 with no component lower than 5.5
- GCSEs: 5 at grade C/4 including Maths & English or equivalent
- Applicants are required to attend a selection day when they will be interviewed with a portfolio
- You will be sent an email by our Admissions Office asking you to book onto a selection day event
