Programme Highlights:

The BA Business and Management (Hons) programme offered by the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) is a three year full-time or four year sandwich degree programme with the goal of producing capable, employable graduates. 

The programme has an equal focus on the principles of business and management. In addition the course provides scope to explore options to enhance your career.

The programme content is dynamic, evolving as business issues change to ensure you’ll have the awareness and skills to succeed in the changing world of business.

Business and Management aims to develop an understanding of how organisations operate and the importance of effective management. Throughout the degree students will develop practical managerial and communication skills and decision making. Students also have an opportunity to study modules in International Business.

You will develop knowledge and skills with a broad understanding in the underpinning theories of business and management. By the end of the programme you will be an independent learner with the skills, knowledge and experience to make informed decisions about your future career.

The Business School's state-of-the-art Greenbank and Brook buildings are in the middle of the campus offering a comprehensive range of study, learning and social facilities including a cybercafé and easy access PC workstation rooms.

  • Our typical offer is 112 UCAS Points.  We operate a flexible admissions policy and treat everyone as an individual. This means that we will take into consideration your educational achievements and predicted grades (where applicable) together with your application as a whole, including work experience and personal statement. General Studies accepted.

  • Pass Access Course: with 112 UCAS Points  
  • International Baccalaureate: Pass Diploma with 112 UCAS points from Higher Level Subjects
