Unique to Anderson University, the Humanitarian Engineering degree focuses on the use of technology to improve lives and strengthen communities through humanitarian efforts.However you feel called to serve, you can make a lasting difference through this field of study. Many students go on to work with nonprofit engineering companies all over the world — locally, domestically, or internationally — to create solutions for areas in need of disaster relief, medical relief, clean energy, clean water, communication technology, or housing.

This program gives graduates the educational and experiential foundation they need to enter sustainable, purpose-driven careers, improving lives one community at a time.
