The Secondary Mathematics Education program offered by West Virginia University is designed with a strong commitment to academic excellence, informed by state and national standards and certification requirements. To apply, complete the WVU Application and include the nonrefundable fee of $75.
Submit any documents and scores requested by WVU.
Most freshman applications can be reviewed based on unofficial transcripts. Upload copies of your transcripts with your application if possible. If not, or if you need to provide more documents, you will have an opportunity to provide them after you submit your application.
Transfer and second bachelor’s degree applications require official transcripts for review. WVU accepts documents delivered through the following services as official: WES ICAP, ECE Dispatch, Parchment, eScript, the National Student Clearinghouse, ETX.NG, and MyCreds.ca. If you cannot use those services, you can send official paper documents by mail.
