Overview

The Secondary Science Education program offered by West Virginia University includes over 125 hours of field observation prior to a year-long residency during the final year of the program. The residency consists of a half-time placement in the first semester and a full-time placement in the second semester. To apply, complete the WVU Application and include the nonrefundable fee of $75.
Submit any documents and scores requested by WVU.
Most freshman applications can be reviewed based on unofficial transcripts. Upload copies of your transcripts with your application if possible. If not, or if you need to provide more documents, you will have an opportunity to provide them after you submit your application.
Transfer and second bachelor’s degree applications require official transcripts for review. WVU accepts documents delivered through the following services as official: WES ICAP, ECE Dispatch, Parchment, eScript, the National Student Clearinghouse, ETX.NG, and MyCreds.ca. If you cannot use those services, you can send official paper documents by mail.
