Career

The Pharmaceutical Sciences programme from Western New England University students are prepared for entry into medical school and physician assistant programs, or for gainful employment in the pharmaceutical industry and related fields such as product development, quality assurance, cosmeceuticals, and more.

Programme Structure

The Accelerated Dual Degree BS/MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences curriculum builds on science-related undergraduate study. Through coursework taught in the state-of-the-art classrooms and labs of the Center for the Sciences and Pharmacy, you will be well-prepared for career paths as a research scientist or in product development and/or quality assurance. As a WNE graduate, you will also possess the skillsets prized by employers: divergent thinking, communication, teamwork, leadership, and an entrepreneurial mindset—essential to careers in discovery and innovation.

General requirements

Official Secondary and College Transcripts: Forward official secondary school transcript(s) accompanied by an English translation of the document(s), as well as an official transcript of the in-progress grades when available. Transfer students should submit official copies of their final secondary school transcript and their college/university study.

English Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in the English language.

Affidavit of Support: Submit an Affidavit of Support form.

Bank Letter: Submit an official letter from your bank (on the bank's stationery) declaring that the financial sponsor has sufficient funding to support the student's education at Western New England University.

SATs Not Required: If a student chooses to submit SAT I or ACT scores, they can be taken from the high school transcript, or an official copy can be requested from the testing agency.

Letters of recommendation are not required.
