The Artificial Intelligence bachelor’s degree program at Lewis University will equip you with theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to develop modern AI systems. Student Learning Outcomes in the BSAI

Upon graduation Lewis BSAI graduates should demonstrate the ability to:

Apply advanced mathematics, computer science knowledge and software tools in identifying, formulating and solving real-world problems.
Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of modern AI approaches, algorithms and tools.
Select and use techniques, skills and modern tools necessary for business objectives.
Demonstrate an understanding of the practice of AI, from vision to formulation, analysis, design, validation and deployment.
Communicate effectively through technical presentations and reports
Recognize the need for, and engage in, lifelong learning in professional areas

Flexible Format

The B.S. in AI program will be offered in hybrid mode with flexible course modalities. Since an effective AI program will require hands-on experience with real datasets, projects, and case studies, courses that emphasize hands-on experience may require on-campus completion.

In the Artificial Intelligence bachelor’s degree, students will gain expertise through core coursework, supported by essential mathematics. The curriculum includes hands-on experience through a capstone project and offers flexibility with electives in computer science and data science. Graduates are equipped for careers in AI development or advanced study in artificial intelligence and related disciplines.
