Why Study Spanish Language and Culture at Lewis University?

- Unique focus on intense speaking and listening training early in the program, followed by conversation and composition courses, grammar, and linguistics, as well as classes on literature, and Spanish courses for the professions later on

- Develop an understanding of the history and evolution of the Spanish language, linguistic principles and effects of colonization on the language itself
- Investigate Spanish-speaking cultures worldwide, reflected in history, literature, religion, politics and the arts in Spain, Latin America and in the United States of America

Whether for a full semester or a two week-trip between terms, in most cases, these study abroad opportunities are available for the same or even less cost than living on campus.
