Dual degree students are guaranteed admission to the Master of Science in Cybersecurity program provided they continue, as undergraduate students, to meet program-specific criteria to progress into graduate program enrollment.

At Sacred Heart University, Cybersecurity students have the opportunity to earn their Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in just five years, saving you time and money. As the first university in Connecticut to be designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD), SHU is the ideal place to study cybersecurity.

Cybersecurity students at SHU follow a curriculum that is closely aligned with cybersecurity-related knowledge units (KUs) that are recommended by the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA), which is taught by accomplished faculty and industry professionals with more than 50 years of combined experience in cybersecurity.

Throughout the program, students gain proficiency in cybersecurity products and applications, learn to build secure and dependable systems and conduct hands-on cybersecurity research at our world-class Cybersecurity Lab. With their master’s degree in cybersecurity from a CAE-CD designated university, graduating students have the competitive edge they need to succeed in today’s job market.
