Dual degree students are guaranteed admission to the Master of Science in Chemistry program provided they continue, as undergraduate students, to meet program-specific criteria to progress into graduate program enrollment. They would earn the Master of Science in Chemistry degree in one year of graduate study, versus the typical two-year timeframe to earn the graduate degree separately.

Located near the country’s top pharmaceutical and industrial companies, such as Pfizer, Bristol-Myers Squibb and General Electric, Sacred Heart University is the ideal place to study chemistry. Students will benefit from lab work at our state-of-the-art facilities with some of the most advanced instrumentation in the region. All students who wish to receive academic credit for coursework taken at a foreign university will have to provide a course-by-course evaluation issued by WES, ECE, FIS, TEC or by any other accredited organization listed on NACES. In addition to the course-by-course evaluation, an official description of each university course must be provided in English. The following will be considered an acceptable document:
Certified translation of the course description/syllabus;
English version of the course description issued by the university.
