Overview

The Astrophysics (with Foundation Year) programme from The University of Lancashire will build upon your physics knowledge. You'll study exciting topics like motion, force and quantum mechanics. You'll also learn about the practical aspect of physics. This includes circuits and magnetic phenomena.

You'll develop your mathematic skills, including algebra, analysis and set theory. You'll use mathematic techniques like differential and integral calculus. This will help you throughout the rest of your degree.

BTEC Extended Diploma in Applied Science or Engineering MPP is accepted alongside GCSE Maths at grade A/7, AS Maths or alternative proof of mathematical ability on a case-by-case basis. 64 UCAS points including BTEC is accepted alongside 32 UCAS points from A-level or AS level Maths and/or Physics.
