Technical and Applied Studies in Organizational Studies (Online) is offered by Ohio University. This program is intended for students who have successfully obtained junior status (completion of 60 semester credits).

The BTAS major focuses on leadership and organizational effectiveness and aims to attract students who wish to be more successful in the workplace by completing work in collaboration, diversity, ethics, and problem solving. This major focuses on the practical application of knowledge and skills necessary for advancement in a student’s chosen career and instills skills associated with a bachelor's degree like written and oral communication, critical thinking, and effective presentations. The Bachelor of Technical and Applied Studies in Organizational Studies is often called a completion degree because students complete the college work they have already started. Students are eligible to declare the BTAS major after completing 60 semester credits from an accredited university or college and obtaining a 2.0 grade point average. As with all OHIO degrees 120 hours are required for a bachelor’s degree. =The BTAS will take all previous credits, which means students are at least halfway or more to completing a bachelor's degree when they declare the major.
