Overview

Students who select The Exercise Science major from the Benedictine College will expand their knowledge of health and fitness so that they have the opportunity to discover and adopt healthy life styles throughout their lifetime. Prospective elementary and secondary teachers of health and physical education students must be accepted into the School of Education as a major and student teach at both levels (elementary and secondary) for state certification. Education courses offered through the School of Education for teacher certification are required.

The opportunity for certification in first aid, CPR, and strength and conditioning.
