Students in Fine Art 2D at Brigham Young University Idaho will be prepared for a lifetime of involvement in the arts and create a portfolio of work from still life, landscape, figurative, and abstract works. You will explore a variety of techniques. With the expert faculty's guidance, you will develop technical and creative thinking skills and discover new possibilities that strengthen your work.

Overview

This degree will give students the necessary tools to communicate visually effectively. Students will gain a deeper understanding of art by being exposed to various art styles, concepts, and ways of thinking. Through this process, students will develop their artistic voice and taste. Under the supervision of the faculty at BYUI, students will develop a professional portfolio to represent them and their work in the professional world.
