Culinary Skills (Online) Centennial College

Overview

The Culinary Skills (Online) course from Centennial College was developed specifically to be delivered online by our industry leading culinary professionals. The online material was carefully curated and created by our chefs who also teach in our in-person program, and who will be engaging with students, teaching them, and guiding them through this online culinary experience. 

While there is no in-person component to this program, students will be expected to participate in weekly online activities and attend live online classes featuring same faculty who teach our in-person programs. The recipes and techniques from our in-person program expertly captured and recorded in video recipe demonstrations, so you’ll feel like you’re in the lab, cooking and learning in person, observing our expert team of chefs, without ever having to leave home.

From industry-leading chef faculty members, you'll learn to prepare exquisite menus and dishes inspired by global food trends and flavours. These dedicated instructors will provide you with the training and learning experiences that will ensure you master culinary fundamentals, ingredients, food preparation and all the other skills required to enter this exciting industry. You'll also come to understand that a career in the culinary field is fueled by passion and rewarded through skill development.

Upon successful program completion, you'll obtain important industry certifications such as Smart Serve, Safe Food Handlers and CPR, which will increase your employability.
