You will also have opportunities to gain first-hand experience through placements. These will take place in educational settings and link what you learn to what you observe and experience in classrooms.
The language units will help you to look beyond the mechanics of language. Focusing on the social and cultural contexts; debating history, politics, film, literature and more. Education and Modern Language degree is offered at University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) .
You’ll learn in small groups, offering maximum interaction with your lecturers and peers. This will also give you plenty of opportunities to practise. You will also have the opportunity to spend a year abroad studying your chosen language.
