Overview

We offer the only English secondary teacher-training program in the region in conjunction with the New Mexico Highlands University’s School of Education. We also provide training for elementary education through the English major and minor. Students can gain first-hand editorial publishing experience working for The New Mexico Review, the department’s literary journal, which attracts national and international submissions.
