Overview

This program prepares a graduate, as an IT professional, to provide computer technology support to business and industry. Graduates are prepared to install, run, troubleshoot, and maintain the technology that allows computer systems to function successfully.

This Information Technology program from Indiana Tech focuses on industry mandated competencies. Several courses are guided by industry-aligned certificates. As students progress through their coursework, they will be preparing for four industry-valued certifications. An emphasis in this program is a hands-on approach that provides experience in setting up systems and solving problems that will be encountered on the job.

Technical courses will be somewhat accelerated (10 weeks) to accommodate working adults. Day school students can maintain a typical day school course schedule except for a few technical courses.
