Overview

The Theatre programme at East Stroudsburg University combined historical, theoretical and applied curriculum develops a wide range of knowledge and practical skills in a collaborative environment. Theatre studies prepare students to use innovative thinking for a variety of professional careers and to enrich many aspects of their lives.

What You’ll Learn

ESU is only an hour and a half from NYC, and students take day trips to see shows and professionals from provide workshops on our campus.
Students have many opportunities to develop their craft with service-learning projects and research opportunities.
Students receive training in all aspects of theatre. As they discover and develop their unique talents, students will work closely with faculty advisers to develop their strengths as an actor, designer, director, stage manager or theatre technician.

Completed International Students Undergraduate Application (online only).
$25 application fee.
Completed Financial Support Statement with supporting documentation such as bank statements, employer sponsorship letter, or scholarship/fellowship/assistantship letter.
All secondary and post secondary academic records, including official evaluations from an agency that is an approved member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.
Results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) - Not required if English is your native or primary language.
Completed Promise to Provide Room and Board form if anyone will be providing room and board for you while a student at ESU.
If you are already in the United States, you must send a copy of all printed sides of the current I-20 or DS-2019.
