Key Facts and Outcomes

Graduates often go on to work as agricultural science teachers in public schools, but this degree also prepares you for a variety of fast-growing agriculture-related careers.

Students who pursue the agricultural development concentration gain a deep understanding of agriculture and agricultural technology, and they also develop the interpersonal and communication skills necessary to share that knowledge with others.

The program also includes teacher education courses and culminates in 12 weeks of clinical teaching in an area public school.
