The Emergency Medical Services Management Major is offered by Oregon Institute of Technology. The Emergency Medical Services (EMS) program offers students a diversified education experience designed to develop strong field provider skills, as well as EMS management and leadership training.

Students with the discipline and drive to successfully complete our programs, earn eligibility for both state and national licensing exams. Located primarily at the Oregon Tech Portland-Metro campus, the BS degree in EMS Management is a joint Oregon Tech / Oregon Health and Science University degree that provides graduates with practical training in three core areas; general business management training, specific EMS industry management training and finally advanced clinical training. This program is an excellent opportunity for practicing and certified paramedics that desire to leverage their field knowledge and experience into a management or leadership position within their organization or would simply like to advance their 2-year degree into a bachelor's degree in order to pursue other graduate level work such as an MPH or an MBA.
